The following terms and conditions represent an agreement between the two parties being; LP MERCHANT LTD (we, us, our) and the participant (You). LP MERCHANT LTD is referred to under the following names on this website and other platforms with differences due to other party naming restrictions, LP Merchant, LP Merchant Ltd, lpmerchant, LP MERCHANT, LETTERED PROVISION MERCHANT.
Service agreement
By use of the website lp-merchant.co.uk you agree to these terms and conditions, privacy policies and legal notices. Links to these documents can be found at the end of every page that we provide on lp-merchant.co.uk. If you do not agree with any of these then you should stop using the services and if you wish you may contact us directly to address any concerns.
While we try to make sure that the website is available for your use, we do not promise that the website will be available at all times, or that your use of the website will be uninterrupted.
Payment
You will be required to pay for your LIVE chat counselling sessions in advance which can be done on the book appointment page.
You will be required to pay for your email journal review response in advance. This can be done through a payment link that will be sent through one of the available customer contact channels.
Re-scheduling and cancellations of LIVE chat counselling sessions can be made on the book appointment page.
For counselling sessions if you need to re-schedule an appointment this can be done 3 days before your booked session. If you are late in attending your appointment, the end time will remain the same.
LIVE chat counselling sessions are charged based on time reserved from the counsellor and without sufficient notice this time cannot be resold. Appointments that are cancelled with less than 24 hour notice will not be refunded. Appointment cancellation notices greater than 24 hours that are received via telegram, SMS, WhatsApp will be processed as soon as the message is read and an estimated time for processing will be provided. This is not an automated process and may be impacted by bank holidays and/or national holidays.
Same day LIVE chat counselling sessions cannot be cancelled once booked and paid for.
Journal reviews are charged based on reading and processing the information given. Once a read receipt has been issued the journal review cost will not be refunded. If a read receipt has not yet been issued than a cancellation request can be submitted.
Confidentiality
We do not take GP or other emergency contact details before sessions, during sessions or after sessions. We understand that there are instances where people may have thoughts or feelings that they may harm themselves or others or they themselves are at risk of harm from others. It is not in the capacity of this service to disclose the participant or their location. Location details are taken during payment processing for the purpose of tax calculations and compliance with HMRC reporting requirements.
We recognise the limitations of services provided and we reserve the right to end the agreement at any time.
Use
Our website is for your personal and non-commercial use only. You agree that you are solely responsible for all costs and expenses you may incur in relation to your use of our website.
By accessing the website, you agree not to misuse or disrupt the website by knowingly introducing material, which is malicious or technologically harmful, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which our website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our website. We may prevent or suspend your access to the website if you do not comply with these terms.
Ownership, use and intellectual property rights
The intellectual property rights in the website and in any text or images accessible from the website are owned by us. In particular, the name and logo. Any use or copying of these is strictly prohibited unless you have our prior written permission.
We reserve all our intellectual property rights (including all copyright, trademarks, domain names, design rights, database rights, patents and all other intellectual property rights of any kind) whether registered or unregistered anywhere in the world. This means, for example, that we remain owners of them and are free to use them as we see fit.
Nothing in these website terms grants you any legal rights in the website other than as necessary for you to access it. You agree not to adjust, try to circumvent or delete any notices contained on our website or any of its content (including any intellectual property notices) and in particular, in any digital rights or other security technology embedded or contained within the website or its content.
