  • Look at what Allah swears by in the Qur’an. What significance do one or more of these have in your life?

  • Read Qur’an and Hadith looking out for the theme of patience.

  • Read Qur’an and Hadith and look out for the theme of wealth and children.

  • Think of how you would imagine judgement day. What matters can you think of that would be discussed between people? What differences do you think there are between how people discuss those matters now?

  • Learn the names of the chapters in the Qur’an. Make notes about each chapter. When not looking at your notes, think of which chapters you can remember and what from your notes you can remember about that chapter. Look back at your notes and think about why some points stood out more than the others.

  • Read the names of Allah. Which standout to you? Think of how these are different from people. Think of how these impact people’s interactions.

  • The Qur’an was described as sweet and fruitful high notes with deep root low notes by an opponent of Islam who lived in Mekkah and was so wealthy that they had more than 10 children who didn’t have to work and could just be around their father.
