Along with our counselling services are our gallery resources. Ideals, affirmations, reflections and ethics can be used as anchors. Help build your internal network of thoughts by connecting these to your experience and knowledge.

For more direct help book our services either in LIVE chat counselling services or our journal review services.

See below for more about the gallery and art shown.

We are designed to live collectively and have been granted guidance in manners and legislation in Islam. We are not created on this Earth as one nation in one religion and are not intended to live this way.

Among the people know one another

Instead, we can live amongst one another in a good way. Differences are not something that are bad unless there are injustices. Cultural and historical differences do not need to be a cause to mistreat one another or to live in a defensive state. When we step into the roles of witness and example, we step out from being one of the people and being ourselves. Our character, our morals, our reputation, our appreciation, our investment, our guardianship.

Words, actions and the impact of others can seem more real than our own perspective, thoughts and feelings. Our resolve is more than the influence of others. What we bear witness to, how we perceive events. How we set ourselves as an example in how we chose to respond.

Every person in every institution in every nation is just one person. Others may have access to us by law, but we have choice in what we say and do, what we support, what we abstain from and what we oppose. We have little knowledge and growing judgement and wisdom. We can influence and be influenced. What we say and do can improve others, and from what others say and do we can be improved.

Among the people we know more than some brief statistics about a person. We are aware of and more knowledgeable of deeper attributes of a person such as their temperament, wrath or mercy. We know of how they handle themselves in difficult situations and how they treat others who are in situations of vulnerability. We know of the challenges they face and the opportunities they receive.

This structured world with bounty and adversity

Introduction to Islamic framework. Familiarise yourself with thoughts that are not built on institutions or processes. The Islamic thought are parallel to observation and analysis of the world around us and the people that inhabit it. Use reason, repeat what is good for you and empower yourself to disrupt previous thought patterns.

Take the time to walk your mind through reasons. Use the words that anchor the reason in difficult situations. Be patient as the reasons gradually come with the anchor and your response and ethics change.

Allow meaningful reflection to become a routine. Intertwine your experiences with knowledge and meaningful reflection to form a stronger individual who are aware and involved in the world and communities.

We provide services and resources in accessible standard English. The materials are produced for all knowledge levels and are not produced to replaced Islamic knowledge or study.

A person with no Islamic knowledge can access the anchors in the artwork and descriptions directly. A person with Islamic knowledge may recognise what is said in the art pieces and some who do not could see if they are able to find it in the preserved Islamic teachings.

A more detailed explanation of why Islamic sources are not directly referenced, can be found in our about page and our FAQ page.

Our main website colours are taken from an Irlen syndrome colour palette. These are colour palettes that are researched to reduce visual distress. These are not used in the gallery images. The shape, placement, orientation and focus of the words is used to make the anchor words more connected and memorable. All of these aspects might make the text itself harder to read.

Colour is not used as there are certain colour combinations that produce a difficult to read contrast and other colours that are more likely to induce visual stress.

More information about Irlen syndrome can be read on the Irlen Institute website linked below.

There are images that can beautify a text or amplify a feeling that is intended from certain text. These are avoided on our services and resources. An image can stimulate different thoughts and feelings based on an individuals experiences. Song lyrics can have a similar impact. As it is uncertain how images may impact our users, these are avoided to avoid any unintended harm.

The services and resources are produced by a Muslim that adheres to Islamic teachings. There are Islamic rulings on use of images. This is not the reason behind the decision to avoid using images, and so it would be inappropriate to pretend that this was the reason.
